Closer to God

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

REFLECTION

When through faith we truly come closer to God, our wish to honor Him grows within us. Praying we learn not to impose our thoughts on God, instead submit to Him. Through prayer we seek what God desires and accept to do it. The longer we live in communion with the Lord, the more we learn to think like Him. The more we know His word, the more we understand His will.
