Patience

The path of our christian life also has difficult parts. The earthly goods, the worries of life, the demands of work, are other such obstacles that can keep us from finishing the service that our God has given us and reaching His goal. In the spiritual realm, stopping also means being satisfied with ourselves and thinking that we do not need to keep progressing in our faith. To keep from stopping we must, same as the apostle Paul, forget what lays behind. We must forget our pains, but not Gods comforting; forget the wounds, the injustices to which we were subjected, but not in the help from God. It is necessary to forget ourselves, and perhaps our achievements, to run straight to the goal, to Jesus, whose love attracts us.
