REFLECTION

Increasingly more often, the modern man tries to protect himself from all the possible dangers, that is where the insurance companies make their money. Following Christ means going down a path rife with obstacles, running the risk of being misunderstood, and sometimes persecuted. Jesus did not promise an easy life without trials for those who believe in Him. Following Jesus means to walk a path where fears and freedoms occur, leaving a deep memory of gratefulness. The believer, when he follows Jesus, knows to love in the face of hate, testify, forgive, be different, and lose it all.
