Knowing God

Faith is a encounter with someone greater than us and that loves us. It is an encounter, a relationship of trust with God, who reveals Himself. Without faith, reflection on God can sometimes satisfy the intellect, but does not allow us to know God. It only allows us to have an intellectual concept of HIm. For there to be a deep relationship between two people it is necessary to have trust, if I distrust someone, I cannot understand him and in the same way if I distrust God I will not be able to understand and receive what He tells me.
